Yeah, the usual family drama. ‘The to-be-in-law aren’t good enough’. But I hate his wife more than him though. To kill someone like that and then just run away. Ugh.
It was honorable of Liang Chi to adopt Liang Zhou as his own and love his wife sincerely. It was the opposite of that that he did to Shulin’s mother. I mean, I can see it realistically happening, but it’s still scum to demand, not even discuss but demand, to have your child aborted purely because you’re afraid you will then abandon your adopted child. Doesn’t give a good impression of adoption either that way. His feelings for Shulin’s mother weren’t sincere enough. I feel a lot of sympathy for her. She was a damn good mother though! I give her a lot of credit.
Plus he allowed what happened to Zhou Qingya (being abandoned) to occur again towards Shulin’s mother. Liang Chi isn’t any different from Yan Wei. In the end, the most pitiful in all this drama is Shulin’s mother (she doesn’t even gets a name!) Zhou Qingya is also a victim, but that was truly up to her for running away from her family. RUNNING AWAY BECAUSE OF COLLEGE? Girl could have worked to pay her own tuition or try her best to get a scholar with her own ability, but obviously she was spoilt and ran with her family’s money to enjoy a voyage.
Well this story is full of adult who makes wrong choice and makes the younger generation pays for it.
And eventually Shulin’s mother got a name, it just near the end [author is so lazy =_=]
@8oni now that you mention it, you are right! Most adults with bigger timescreen caused so much trouble and their children have to clean it up. It gives me a different perspective of the adults in my life, i appreciate my parent’s hard work 👍👍
